Okay, this has been discussed, and I've read most of the posts. But my eyes tell me something different than what I read. Here is a Pic:
(thank you to whomever owns this cool truck)
...This truck says it has a Fabtech level kit. But, I've seen other pics of guys that have put on levelers and their truck looks like it is driving uphill all the time. Is this a different size of LEVEL?? To me, this truck looks perfect. Doesn't have that "uphill" look. I've gotta go in Friday and get "whatever I'm getting done" done, and I need to resolve whether or not to do the level. So are their different sizes of "levels" or what??
Also, some trucks I see, the tires sit under the wells, and some they stick out (same size tire). How do I know if my wheels will cause this or not?? My wheels are the 17" Lariat wheels, that basically look like the 20"s, but less cool.
My truck is a PSD by the way, which as I understand sits an inch lower in the front (per a gentleman from this board). I just don't want the "uphill" look, and I also don't want the "I could afford the tires but not the lift" look. I want a "modified stock" look thanks a lot, I'd post pics but I'm not allowed to.

There are different Level Kits out there. On ebay I've seen Add a leafs that add 1.5 all the way to 3 inches, and shackles only from 1.5-3 inches. They have different size leafs and shackles you can combine yourself to your desired height. The add a leaf for the front was $65, shackles were $75, all the way around 2in add-a-leaf lifts were $105. I think I'm going to get the 2 in add-a-leafs and add the 1.5 inch shackles maybe, not sure.
Mine has the DR 3inch leveling kit on it, with that said, It did raise the nose up higher then the rear, which I did not like, so they removed the stock f250 block in the rear and added a f350 block which is I think 1 or 2 inches taller, now I think It sits perfect. As for the tires sticking out you will find with a 17x8 or 17x9 you will be ok mine are Moto Metal 951 17x9 and fit just right good luck.
I have the tuff country soft ride leveling kit it is a 99 f-250 cc powerstroke and it sits a little low in the back but it rides fantastic. I am going to install the firestone adjustable air bags in the back to level it off and still maintain a good ride. I will let you know how it works. I run 35" toyo open country mud terrain tires and the fronts rub a little if I turn into a curb or driveway to hard.
thanks for the replies, Guys! CC, that is a great solution if the leveler puts my snout up too high.....put the 350 blocks in the back. Sounds like a winner plan to me!
An F350 sits 2" higher in the rear than an F250. An F250 sits "almost" level stock, almost. An F350 with a 2" leveling kit in the front sits "almost" level front and rear, almost. This will depend on options and engine. Maybe that picture is of an F350, so it would sit almost level with a 2" leveling kit.
Ace,
...I recall you saying that from another thread. I double-checked the truck which I attached, it is a 250. Thanks for the offer Discount, if I do the level route, I'll call you for the blocks. thanks a lot,
