test for a bad injector
I have a 93 F150 5.0
when I press the accelator down about 3/4 to full WOT I get a miss sound and a lack of power.
I just gave it a tune up and it ildes Great and runs fine untill I get to that one spot... I havent changed the fuel filter out YET...
But I'm thinking it may be a bad injector..
BUT if it was a bad injector wouldn't it NOT send fuel at a lower RPM....
Also I really dont feel like it's the filter because there seems to be no loss of fuel.
any Ideals ?

I would think that an injector would show up all of the time.
I would check fuel pressure when this is happening. Also, a bad plug or wire will act up under heavy load too. A new fuel filter wouldn't hurt just to be safe.
