tire clearence

ok, so the FTE Faqs say for 35 inch tires you need a six inch lift. off-road . com says 4" for 35 tires and 2" for 33s... anyone run 35s with a 4 inch lift? whats the rub like?

The FAQ info is for zero rub at full steering lock and full suspension compression. So with the wheel hard-over and at least one front spring fully compressed, the tire at that wheel will not rub anything.

35" tires and 4" lift you will need to either shim your bumper forward, or trim it.

You will also rub sometimes on uneven roads (offroad) while turning. But I ran that combination on an 88' for alot of years without much trouble. I did alot more hard wheeling than also.
