engine diagnostic

Hi! I live in Chicago and was wondering if anyone knows where I can get my engine checked. I have a warranty until October and after reading some of the threads here I would like to check out a few things that may go wrong. Thank you for any info.

Is your CEL (Check Engine Light) on? AutoZone will pull the codes off your computer for free. It is a simple code readout, and you may need to hope online to get more details, but they can usually give you some good info.

No check engine lights are on. I hear some tapping noise in the front of the engine and I want to have the timing chain checked before the warranty is up.
