front axle engagement
i have a 94 explorer 4x4 that makes a sound like the driver side front axle is trying to engage, or is like semi engaging. if that makes any sense. if i put it into 4 wheel it goes away, but today it just started out with that semi engaging pull on the drivers side again. i have done work on that axle, but it was doing this before i did any work. any help would be of great in figuring this thing out.

thanks for the help. so i should degrease that spring assembly thing, and then soak it with 1/4 cup diff lube. why no new grease? won't the lube just drain out after a while? just thought i would ask. thanks!
