Hello Forum Members.

4 weeks back I purchased a new ride (38 Pickup) with a 85 HP Flathead in Iowa. On the way home and one hour into my return the engine blew in Channahon Illinois about 1 1/2 hours west of Chicago.

The truck is at a repair shop and the mechanic keeps giving me the run-arround so now I am asking for help.

Does anyone know a Flathead rebuilder in the Channahon or close area of Illinois

Jeff, welcome to FTE. Hopefully somebody may come along with the answers you need. I'm not sure if any of our members here are in the Chicago area, but hopefully somebody can produce an answer.
