We have several mud drags. I'll get the dates for you, it would be awesome having you up!

I think the suspension is great, I would like to drop the ride hight 2-3 inches, right now the pre load nuts are all the way up & still sits to high, other than that it works like a dream,
and for the rest of the suspention it seems to be dialed fairly close, the truck seems to leave strait & hard, all the while getting plenty of power to the ground,
In the vid where I leave the ground the truck felt smooth as butter,
Get those dates, There's got to be one I can fit in with my work schedual,

The Sheridan mud drags are on Saturday, June 10th. Call Dick Jordan at 503-843-3101 to register. Willimina drags haven't been "formally" announced yet but word is they will be and they are always the first saturday of July. Mollala mud drags aren't announced yet so I'm not sure when they will be. Either way, I'm more than happy to put you up at my place if you wish, and have plenty of secure parking. Ivans mentioned before there is also some big event in Spokane, but not sure if its actual drags. I figure wherever you end up either Ivan will come down here or I'll come up there. Would be great to meet you and see that friggin sweet rig in person. Good fun!
Yea, it looked like the suspension was soaking up the whoops like it was nothing. I'm sooo all over coilovers and a four link with my next rig. You can only do so much with leaf springs, and kidney belts are uncomfortable

I just looked over my work schedual, I'm working for the date you put, (figures)
With my schedual I have to work the first & last weekends in july so anything on 15th-16th or 22nd-23rd I'm there, the weekend of the 17th & 24th in june are good also, (I don't know why I posted those months backwards)
keep your ear to the ground, if there is anything on those dates I know I can work it out, if not I may just have to take some vacation time & go anyway,
I know where there is a mud bog with some high power rail cars you'd have some fun at on the july 15th weekend, but sadly its a ways out of your way in crowsnest past alberta (its during rum runner days, a big fireworks show, thunder in the valley is at night and the bog in the day).
lookin awesome!! i bet you will be able to leave the light switch on the hwole way through a bottomless pit, that track looked ROUGH, but the truck looked like it handled it awesome
Mustang, Canada is definatly out for this year, It would be a cool trip though,
Kubota, this next race we will see how it works in the bottemless pit, I hope you are right,
Hey Pro, I did a little searching & came up with a couple of events I might be able to make,
have you heard of these?
Sutherlin, OR 8-18 through 8-20 (Blackberry fest I think)
and
Albany Oregon June 17 &18 Mud Drags
I like the looks of the second one, just have to get my ducks in a row by the middle of next month,
I'm aware of the Sutherlin one, I've just never been to it so didn't mention it due to lack of personal experience. I'd hate for yout to come up and it be a po-dunk event. I'll ask some of the guys in my clubs about it and see if I can get more info. Too bad you couldn't make Sheridan, thats always a major one. I've never even heard of the Albany mud drags before and I'm out of town that weekend
Albany isn't that bad of an event... sutherlin is getting bigger but it's getting more and more lame... i've been going there the last 7 years and i refused to go in 05. the people running it don't have a clue and there's always a big hassle and fight over who actually wins. in 04 i ran 16 times in the one class and won 15 of the races, it's double elimination so common sense says we swap lanes and run again right? not quite, the other guy ran 6 races, was 'held over' and beat me once so they gave him first. doesn't quite make sense to me... they run some in tillamook and coos bay over on the coast... coos bay is usually a good time but it's a bog, not a drag race..
that said, there has always been decent competition at sutherlin in the past and probably 90% of the guys there are just there to have fun. i may go back this year if i get the new motor in... crew cabs need more than 360 cubic inches... LOL

Good to know about Sutherlin. I figured there was a reason folks in my clubs typically didn't run it. Sad truth is, mud dragging period isn't very organized out here period, and the purses will maybe pay for gas if you take first. Ah well, its all in good fun. Sheridan and Willimana usually have it together but ever since they switched to single elimination last year I thought it was a lame move. The molalla drags are usually pretty awesome, well organized, some sweet rigs run and they usally have a couple of monster trucks for a halfway show. I've got my ear to the ground on that one. I just wish it was all as organized as back east...
the used to have one in roseburg also that usually turns out pretty good, it's just a bog and burnout contest.. LOL $500 bucks for the best burnout and $500 bucks to the first street legal truck through the pit has been the way they've been doing it the last few years. i'm not sure if they still do this one though, it's been 2 years since i've went..
where'd ya find the coos bay schedule? i haven't had much luck locating it... getting married this weekend so i'm gonna say it's a no go for me this time, but maybe the next one... it's only like 1 1/2 from my place to there and it's been a while.. time to go check it out again me thinks....

I found the Coos bay schedual on the coos bay raceway web site, unfortunatly I will not be able to go, after looking at coos bay's rules, rule #3 not nitrouse or alcohol, rule #4 no blowers, I'm glad I found this info, that would have been a long trip for nothing,
I'm still going to go up there for one this year just not sure witch one,
