I think Mech (Kevin) has quite a bit done to his ride, with no drugs..... Dockboy is about the highest HP that I know of - but he doesn't post on FTE very often....

For BIG power - you are needing:

All the primary supporting mods (intake, gauges, etc...)
Full aftermarket fuel supply system....
BIG injectors....
Dual HPOP setup....
BIG turbo.....
a STRONG tranny.....

AND a motor with a bottom end that will hold up to all the power....

A FAT wallet is an ABSOLUTELY necessity!!!

Yeah, I think Kevin has the biggest HP 7.3 of our more frequent members. He's got some hybrid 530 injectors, a turbo upgrade, manual tranny, bigger fuel supply, but I don't think he's got a dual HPOP though. No hard numbers on his power output, but his guess is around 450.

Give it some time, and you'll see more of the members here starting to put out some big numbers. I know my plans will eventually have me with at some big numbers, and I think Kris is planning an full on race build engine that should be a terror.

im not too big on power now, but i will have a pulling truck to compete with when it's done.

so far my list for the build (i have forged rods already, going to be cryoed, or may sell them and get cunninghams)

head studs
ceramic coated low compression Mahle pistons
chromoly push rods
head porting
DI headers
GT42 or larger turbo run into my "stock" van turbo with ATS shroud and hood stack
BTS stacked HPOP
complete fuel system with tank sump and no filter bowl (where the second turbo will be)
cunningham rods
crane cam
HD lifters
hi-rev valve springs
ceramic coating on valve face, inside cylinder heads all the way to the second turbo outlet
main studs
custom made main girdle
fire-ringed heads

i have some other secrets im not revealing until i actually have them because i dont think anyone anywhere has it/these/them expecting over 650hp on #2 and maybe 775 on the bottle? of course i'll need tons of driveline modifications and axles, tranny and probablyt a T case. this is my finished product dream, it will take ALOT of time, im just going to accumulate the internals of the engine and then do a build, and add things such as oil and fuel mods and anything external as i get it. now the truck sits how i want it, i can work on buying race parts.

Wow guzzle, a woman that's into the modded PSD as well? That's great that you two can share something like that together. But, it can be harder on the Fat Wallet mod though.

Kris, I'd go with the Cunningham rods. Even if you get the stock ones cyroed, I don't know how much they'll stand up to. Stock forged rods are good up to about 500 RWHP. I can't imagine that the cyro process would add another 200 hp capability to them.

Talking

Well the engine im building wont be the most expensive or the most powerful but it will run well.

Here's my list of mods:

BDP-big injectors, turbo, custom fuel system, headstuds
WipeOut Enterprises- chromoly pushrods, billet connecting rods, mainstuds
Tony Wildman custom tuning
Faubion Motorsports custom trans
DI performance race intercooler
Autometer gauges

Engine:mahle .010 lower comp pistons/ .020 over bore, fully balanced rotating assembly, new International heads, comp cams v springs

Should lay down a solid 300hp on the dyno
