well folks its true. yesterday way up on a mountain one lane road. i had just finished loading up my sled and pulled off the side of the road to let another fellow obs stroke by. when the side of the road gave out and i slid down. the side of the road was about a foot of loose gravel. so here is my truck about to roll left rear tire has daylight under it . so it try to back her up a little. i feel it going more. so i tried to take her forward with the wheel cranked hard. same thing just pushing down the mountain more. so here i am sitting on dirt with the front axle tube, rear tire in the air and a big tree down the hill about 5 feet away that i kept imagining was gonna smash the passenger side all to . well i had a tow strap and had met a few guys up riding and he owned a duramax. pulled me right up from over the edge with no problem. stressfull times or i would of took pictures.
all in all a great day. saved by a chevy and beautifull weather

I was taking a friend of mine home last night and on the way back home from her house noticed a sitting on the side of the river. Well curiosity absolutely demanded I stop, so I did. Low and behold, a late model Dodge dually was sitting with it's whole rear end in the river up to about the fill door for the fuel tank. It was sitting at a good 35-40 degree angle and most defiently stuck.
A guy with a PS was attempting to pull him out, not having much luck (lots of mud). About 15 minutes later a guy with a brand new (still had dealer license plates on it) Chevy comes along and stops. Few minutes later the Chevy is also tied to the front of the Dodge. Together they managed to get the guy out...though I imagine the water did a number on his truck. It was still there this morning, I think they're gonna have it towed when it dries out some.
My hats off to them for cooperating, and hats off to the Chevy guy for not being afraid to get a brand new truck dirty.
Pickup truck owners have fun with the various name brand bashing, but all in all I think we all share a silent comradry , when the tihs hits the fan for any other PU driver..
I'd have let it roll man. Forget gettin help from a duracrap. I would'a laughed if he would have stopped and asked if i needed help. "Does it look like i need help? Of course I parked it this way!" LMAO, good to hear your alright brotha! All in all, I'd rather have a duracrap pull me out rather then a crummins! LMFAO!
