Well I am almost disassembled, tomorrow night the oil pan comes off to inspect the bottom end.

I have been tossing the thought of getting another truck around.
Bad thing is there seems to be few trucks around that have what I am looking for.

I am still not sure I want another payment to have make either.

There is a 97 XLT Stroke 350 4x4 dually crew cab 5 speed with only 90,000 on it here that I would buy, but the owner wants to much money for it.
I also found the same truck in a 99 model with 120,000 on it for 1000 dollars more down in Ky.
The 99 model has a lot of goodies on it, and it is a six speed, but it is only an extended cab.

And they would both have a payment book attached to them.

I dropped the 6.9 heads off at the machine shop today.
After I get the report on the condition I will be making a decision on whether or not to do the block and how far I will go.

I can see I have valve guide and stem seal problems in the heads.

I am trying hard to not go the payment route, but I am a little tired of swapping motors and bumming rides.
If I go the payment route I am going to try and keep it low.

I did the same thing, but low payment, NADA. $500 a month is killer on a used vehicle.

I am looking more in the 300 dollar range.
I have no use for a new truck, I am looking 97 or older, although there is a 99 in the classifieds that is tempting.

I have a DeVilbis and an air compressor, any truck can be a black beast in just a little bit.

I am sorta attached to my "True Blue" one. Second one I have had that color. Actually the dang thing looks purple at times. The first one was "Midnight Blue Metallic."

The black truck goes with my black Cat hat. To bad my knees hurt so bad, I had to stop wearing the black cowboy boots.
