Okay, truck didnt want to start again this morning, so went to NAPA and bought new GPR part # GPR109. I am trying to install, but there are 2 relays, one in front that looks to be same size as what I bought, and one in the back a little smaller. So I am thinking one in front, but mounting holes are different. On the one currently on the truck, the holes are across from eachother at 12 & 6 oclock. On the GPR109 they are next to eachother at 3 & 6 oclock.
First, am I correct in assuming that the GRP is the relay in front, toward front of truck? And why are the mounting holes different?
Any quick replys are greatly appreciated as I want to get this in and be done with it.
Okay, I am going to change my mind on which relay I think it is. The front one, (bigger one) has a wire to battery on one big post, and wire to ypipe on turbo on other big post. I am thinking this is not it. The smaller one towards firewall has battery wire on one post, and 2 wires coming off of other big post, one yellow and one brown, and going somewhere in harness towards valve covers. I am thinking this is the GPR. Am I correct?
Thanks
Bill
