Does the unit in the photo between the brake booster and the ignition contol module look like a factory cruise unit or anycruise unit for that matter? Speedo cables run into and out of it.
Anyone familliar with this unit? It says "Mfg. by Dana Corp. Perfect circle controls division." Possibly a dealer add-on? All of the vacuum stuff is missing probably be easier to abandon it than try to repair.
That's the box and bracket International used on their trucks and Travelalls. The box was also used on Scout IIs. It should have two vacuum lines and a three wire connecter hooked to it, as well as a single wire. One vacuum line was manifold vacuum and the other went to a diaphram mounted on the firewall that connected to the throttle linkage. Don't know if yours has or had anything besides the speedo cables hooked to it. Is there some type of on/off/resume switch inside?
Sorry I have been gone for a day or two. That is correct, there are 2 vac. lines and three wires. No switches in the cab, but I can see where they may have been removed.
What I am trying to find out is if the unit in the photo is all I need (if I can get a vac. pot and the switches to control it), or am I missing a bunch of brain boxes and stuff in which case I should just scrap it and start over. What else is required to make these units function?
