I recently took my 4x2 extended cab long bed truck on a trip looking for property. In several places, my truck dogged down. I came home wishing I had a 4x4. I notice quite a lot of 4x4 F250 PSD's around so they gotta be good. Anything I gotta know before I go and get one?
On another note, I tried trading my 4x2 for a 4x4 but the dealer said my truck isn't worth that much. So now I'm stuck selling it outright -- if I decide to do so (I posted the truck in the FTE Classifieds today). Any ideas on how I can make this deal work?
Yes dealers love to tell people their trucks aren't worth much, is your 4x2 a diesel ? and what year? If it's clean with low mileage it should still fetch a good price.
I have a 2 wheeler dually, ext cab 7.3 with 146,000 on the clock, and I have seen them with 270,000 going for more 14,000, I paid for mine, I gave 11.2 really good shape,, past owner even gave me print out of everytime he got fuel, where, when, mileage, and how much he got...So if I was you go to another dealer, his problem is probably he's not right and cant seel anything with this economy the way it is, plus I guess your in texas..so how many road haulers really need a 4x4
