460 stalling around corners
Hello, my 78 460 (stock motorcaft carb) runs perfect except when I make a hard left turn while decelerating to a stop. It sounds like it is not getting enough fuel and will run ruff or stall. Other than that the thing runs great (46,000 miles). I'm will check the fuel pressure tomorrow. Could the float level in the carb be to low? Any other known causes? If it is the float level what all is involved in adjusting it? Thank you

It could be the float.
It could also be the coil, I had the same thing on my truck. Turns out the coil was cracked, and when I turned the electrolyte (or whatever is inside) would slosh to one side and the coil would quit.

I'd try and park the truck on a side hill lie in the direction you are having the problem and let it idle for awhile and see if you notice a difference or the problem occurs. Do you have one or two gas tanks? Is it the same on both? It sounds like floats to me but I am no expert. This is a definately a sympton of float adjustment problems.
