Camper Specials

Did Ford from 73-79 make any Camper Specials without? the tool box built into the outside right on the box?

Yes, I saw a '78 camper special at the salvage yard a couple years ago - no tool box.

The tool box was an option not standard equip with CS's.

I have a 78 Supercab Camper Special- NO tool box. Wish I could find a bed with one. I'd swap the beds or graft the tool box onto mine in a heartbeat!

My 73 Camper Special does not have a toolbox. I don't really miss not having one anyway...I plan on getting a low profile bed toolbox put in anyway.
