vin code
I need to know what this truck should have for motor, tranny, paint colors, etc. to see if it is all original. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Is there a web site that I can decode vin numbers for 67-72 F-series trucks.

I believe your VIN decodes to a 1/2 ton 2 wheel drive, 302-2V engine, assembled in Ontario. The L44416 is the Consecutive unit number and gives month of assemly. I think yours would be Jan. 1971.
You can get much more info from the Rating plate found in the drivers side door post area.
