[updated:LAST EDITED ON 04-Mar-02 AT 04:56 PM (EST)]Great tip on the Ford P/U. It's important that I rent at the airport as I arrive at night on Wednesday and leave at 6AM on Sunday morning.

 

For all first time visitors! The show is basically over on Sunday and everyone heads home. Save some money and don't stay over Sunday night (you will be the only one left in town). I usually go up Friday, check in to the hotel and walk until my feet hurt, then relax over burgers at the Belair Cafe and go to bed early. Get up early 0600, grab breakfast and get back to the show before the mad rush, walk until my feet hurt, hang with the LoRiders and drive home early Sunday. Parking around the show has not been a problem in past years. I stay at the Hampton on Music City Ave or something like that. Comfortable shoes are a must and if you bring the kids use plenty of sunscreen.

I've never been to PF, Is there a swap meet? Always looking for something, may want to bring my car trailer.

 

YES re: the swap meet, it's a pretty big one that's focused on F100's. Last year there were complete trucks and lots of parts.

 

I'll be getting there early, so if anyone is wanting something special, let me know. Believe me, all the good stuff is gone by Thursday PM.
