I was wondering if anyone makes Sun Visor extensions? I like my new 2006 F-150 supercab... BUT I don't like when I use the sun visor on the drivers door and the sun comes right in the 6 inch gap that isn't covered by the visor. Obvisouly this is only a problem in the morning when driving south and in the evening when driving north... I mean I can jerry rig something...
I would think there is a extension you can clip onto the existing visor. Not having much luck searching the web.
I remember seeing something on Car & Driver about something at SEMA but haven't seen it advertised yet- it was kind of like those spandex windshield cover things, but only slaller and fit over the mirror to cover that gap. I've always wondered why they don't just make a flip-down like some Lincoln vehicles had- like a little mini visor above the mirror, or the slide out extenders like the Dodges have, only longer. Talk to ANY driver and they'd want them!
Right I am talking about one the would extend when you have the visor flipped against the drivers door. Maybe I will just design it , patent it, sell it

Too late, Steve. The people at Hyundai do a great job with sliders to extend the length of the sunvisors. They really work. The NA manufacturers should be more observant in things like this. S.J.
