'99 expy won't drive forward

My wifes '99 expy won't drive forward. It will go in reverse fine, but not forward. It's rolls in neutral forwards and back. I just replaced Pads and Rotors on all four corners about a month before. She said the back tire(s) kind of skipped when she was backing up and then just locked up and wouldn't go forward. I haven't taken anything apart as I just had surgery and can't lift or strain so I asking blindly, so to speak. Anybody have any idea?? The parking brake seems to be releasing but I can't say for sure. I've read about the ABS sensor on other postings, but I'm not sure about that. Thanks for any help.
Matt

If it was my mother in laws vehicle I would have her lie under the truck while I put it in gear to see if the drive shaft was turning and the wheels not...

Have your transmission checked by a qualified and well recommended service shop.

Transmission shops

Where abouts are you; zip code

I have some great auto transmission dealers throughout the US and Canada that really know their transmission.
