When it sort of fades out and fades back in, I thought we'd see that you'd set the cruise control and gone in for a sandwich or something.

HAHAHAHA

Nice. I can't believe one of those tired didn't blow before you quit. We had a burnout contest a few years back when my truck was still a 2wd and I blew 3 rear tires before I quit for the nite. lol

I have to say it was the funnest thing I've done in awhile. I think the reason they lasted so long was they were on steel plates.

I was bummed that I couldn't get out of 2nd, as 3rd would have resulted in way more smoke, it was windy too so the smoke didn't hang around very well. I'll just have to do it again

thanks for the compliments.

KubotaOrange76 your truck Is kind of a role model for me. That sounded sappy, must be the rubber fumes....

Hey guys, since we're on the topic of burnouts. I actually have a burnout competition truck. Its a 77 F150 camper special that came with a 460 in it( I know, its only 2wd, but since this is a burnout thread). The engine in it now is actually out of a 1970 Lincoln and has had a few things done to it. It usually held its own in the competitions around here. The engine is getting pulled out and put into my trail rider this spring yet (so that makes it somewhat offroad and 4x4 oriented). We have a big steel burnout pad that we rent out to towns and other people that want to put on burnout competitions for local celebrations, car shows, fairs, etc. Here is the link to the truck:
http://www.supermotors.org/vehicles/...il.php?id=6727
And one pic, there are some videos in that link but they require quicktime player.
