Hello out there. Another new guy here. This is a pretty sweet set up you all have here. Lots of info and vendors. Cool stuff. First and formost I want to thank you for including me in Ford Truck Enthusiasts. I currently own a 1972 F-250 Sport Custom, with a 360 c.i.d. V8 bolted to a C-6 3-speed auto. Rearend gears are 4:10's. Sitting on top of that big ol' gas hog is a Holley 600 cfm 4-barrel, mounted to an old ford galaxie cast-iron intake manifold. Spent gases are exited via dual 2 1/4'' pipes and a set of el-cheapo mufflers (soon to be replaced). She is a 57,000 original mile truck that runs strong but does need some cosmetic work. That shouldn't be too hard though cause the body is very solid and the undercarriage is clean. I have a lot of plans for it and Ill try to keep you all posted as this project moves along. Ill get some pictures posted soon. For the most part, this old truck will get up and go! I think thats due too the 4:10 gears out back. This is my second old ford pickup, my first was a 1979 F-100 Custom, 302, 3 on-the-tree. I loved that old truck, but hotrodding and constant thrashings finally did that little 302 in. Thats ok, this 360 is way more torquey. But, ill get back to you all later, prior engagements. Peace, Ill see you in the forums!
