Another newguy..
Hi Folks,
Found this site while searching for ways to get my project going again.
Been idle on this one for about 10 years and figure I'd better git on it or git rid of it!
Got an old '52 delivery truck.
P350 chassis and solid metal....no aluminum!
It's like a small UPS delivery van and I need to get some upgrading done.
Had the original 223-6 in it, which I dumped and dropped a '76 Ford 400 from a Lincoln Continental onto the frame. Kept the C6 tranny and went with an RV cam for some bottom end torque.
This spring's project is getting some stopping power to this tank (body by SHERMAN, no-kidding).
So I'll post my questions to the appropriate forum later.
Funny thing I've found....
Of all the classic truck magazines and various enthusiast sites, there haven't been any for the old delivery type trucks. A lot of F-100's and such, but no
pictures of show quality big guys.
