It seems that even though you get the rear bottom corners aligned flush with the body as I did, that when you install the wx/stripping it causes the rear bottom to extend a little. There is a large chunk of rubber in the stripping to seal that corner and it forces out only on the bottom part of door pivoting at the hinge area. I think that may be why we see so many finished trucks with the mis-alignment.
It is now too late to do any welding because of paint. Mine seem to be out about 1/8" and I,m hoping it will "go away" as the rubber breaks in.
We're not laughing at you, we're laughing wi.....
....oh, who am I kidding? We ARE laughing at you!!!
I can sympathize, I've been there. It hurst like the dickens!!! It always amazes me that a small bit of splatter can find its way around all of the protective gear we wear. If you have one tiny hole in your jeans, thats where the splatter will go, in the jeans, and down into your boot.....ouch!!

I fit my doors by shaving the weatherstrip going around the door and placing a piece of good paper in the gap, closing the door and by pulling the paper out you can find the tight spots. Spent all day fitting, ground( high speed grinder with a rotary file and shaved box cutter) until I had the best fit.

I with I had B/B Ford's problem with 1/8". I had to pull my bottom corners out 1/2" to get them to match. The bottom contour of my doors and the bottom contour of my cab corners we not even close.
Bobbytmn, I'm with you on the spatter down the boot. I've been there too and that really hurts.
