I got my International stuck in Summerfallow twice. Once a Day Friday, and Sunday. On Friday had a couple buddies with me. Got pushed out. (Drinking) On Sunday I just wasn't paying attention to where I was going, Got dad and a tractor to pull me. I've never had that truck stuck before, till this last weekend.

Also worked a bingo and did body work on my 57 & 67.

Saturday I was at the farm getting everything ready, and Sunday went to Mossbank for a birthday party. Our friends daughter's first birthday.

My weekend started Thursday night with a Texas Mikey (actually a TM and two 40's) party with 10 buddies. The winner of our hockey draft gets a TM, but then has to have a party. It's definately a win/lose situation. We had 2 deep fryers going cooking wings and other meat, homemade fries, onion rings, mushrooms and mars bars!!! Three and half hours later all the booze and food was gone, and so was my hair!!! This clippers came out and now I'm bald, oh well it grows fast. We all walked to the closest bar around 9:30, things went downhill from there.
I had to take my son to a Dr. appt the next day at 2 and then had a 4 hour drive back to Endeavour after that. Friday was a lonnnnnnnng day. Saturday was my wife's aunt and uncles 40th Anniversary, there was a supper and come and go tea thing. Then we drove back to Saskatoon yesterday. I need a weekend to recover from my weekend!!

Worked late all week to take off early Friday. Took the Galaxie to SIR, ran it a couple times... getting pissed off every run due to not having the jets or power valves I needed, not to mention getting rubber in all gears due to not having slicks on.
Saturday I had the misfortune of doing a cam, intake, head, and valvetrain swap on my cousin's 350 Camaro... I really don't know why people like those engines... they are a real pain to work on!
Sunday re-jetted and tuned the Galaxie, replaced the header collector gaskets, took it easy all day.. then drove the Galaxie on the street a little to listen to the exhaust Hooker Aero-Chamber mufflers.... highly recomended! They make Flowmaster look like tin cans compared.

That was our 5 annual Texas Mickey party. Everyone made it home this year and nobody got arrested even. We did lose one guy for a while, but we found him a block from the bar sleeping in a flower bed on someones front lawn.

Can you tell me any more about those mufflers, street legal, were to find, price, is it a deep truck like tone, should a person run dual?

Mufflers

The mufflers have a thick casing, so they don't make noise from the outside (like turbos or others). They have a nice deep bass like tone to them, my 390 is pretty raunchy so obviously the exhaust is also raunchy but they did sound good on my buddies 350.. before AND after the cam swap. They were about $100 each from Performance Plus.. the only place you can get them is from speed shops. I run dual 2.5" exhaust because the 390 likes to breath.. but the single would sound good as long as your exhaust pipes are large enough... the bigger the pipe, the deeper the sound.... if you go with a single 2" on any muffler it will sound bad and will be excessively loud and pop.

100 bucks each is a decent deal for mufflers. Are they straight through type mufflers?
