Junk yards are full of them - but if nothing else we used to build our own out of 4" channel iron. Some trucks used 6 inch, but that is very heavy to lift arround.

Tom, Any bumper from 57-72 Ford pickup 1/2 or 3/4 ton should bolt up. You will need the bumper brackets also.

Things must be slow in your part of the country to get a ticket for that.

John,

It's to stop the idiot tourists in their econoboxes from driving under rear of us locals because they're looking out the side window at "interesting scenery" & not where they are going, while driving straight ahead, that caused that law to be put in effect.

There's also a Bumper Height Law too. . . .

We're not called the "Bikini State" for nuthin'. . . . . . . doncha know?

I thought the bumper from a 73 up to 96 would also fit, is that not the case? Maybe I am thinking about the front bumper?

cracker, The frame was widened in 73. I understand that with spacers you can mount one. Should one do that no future towing from the bumper at all.

This sounds like a CYA and to pass muster I would bolt up about anything.

We wouldn't want FBp running over you, while looking at them bikinis.
