I need to locate an exhaust manifold for my 65 f100, the problem is that my truck is registered as a 65 but has the 223 in it. If im not mistaken i think the 65 came with the 240. Regardless, all the part magazines ive looked through dont list the exhaust manifold for the 223 only the 240. Are some of the parts for the 240 and the 223 interchangable or am i just retarded. And is there an easy way to identify which engine i have.
Also any help on where to find a linkage repair kit would be greatly appreciated.

1st of all. . . .WELCOME to FTE
Post the serial number & info on your data plate. We can tell you the engine you should have if the truck is an OEM Stock vehicle.
If you know you have a 223 CID then get a manifold for the engine rather than the year of truck it's in. The year it's registered as is the result of some governmental notion and does not have anything to do with anything that matters except your tag and their $$$$.
My truck's registered as a 66. It has a 460 CID engine, 79 - F-150 chassis & lots of other things having nothing to do with year it's registered as either. . .
What linkage are you talking about ?

check clifford performance.. nice exhaust setup for the 223, thinking about buying it myself to replace the stock on my 223. Besides that a junkyard or used parts place will give you a hand. I have a Ford truck parts guy here in CO that probably has a few sitting around.
