switching rear end gears?
I've now found out i have a 3.50 rear end, that seems kinda high for me. How will uping it to like a 3.80 or 4.11 effect my truck. I know it will take more revs to get to highway speeds but by how much, and how much more off the line torque will it give me. I'm not worried about it going super fast but need to be able to cruise on the highway at 65-75 without blowing up my 352.

It really depends on your tire size. 4.11s will be a bit much at 70mph unless you have 35 inch tires or bigger. Thats what I have and if memory serves I'm right around 3 grand on the tach at 70mph.

I'm hummin' at 3400 RPM at highway speeds with 4.10 gears and 255/70r16 tires. My speedo is off, but I think I'm running between 70-75 at that RPM. It's a little rough on the gas card :-)
