Wiring Similarities

I understand the '67 - '72 F100s are very similar, does anyone know how much the electrical wiring changed in those years?

I think the main change was late 70/early 71, mostly with the ignition switch wiring and the turn signal wiring at the column.

A few minor things changed, but I think for the most part it is quite similar.

I even put a turnsignal switch from a mid 80's truck into my 67'. All the wires are even the same color, there were just a few extra for the emergency flashers that I did not need(my flasher switch is in the glove box). Cut off the plastic flasher swith and it fit perfectly.

I'm not sure how this would be wired, or maybe it was just the switch, but in 70, the park lights started staying on with the headlights.

Are you saying that it was normal for them to go out when the headlights were on in the pre-1970? I noticed this a long time ago with my '69 and figured there was something wrong, but just never got around to checking into it or doing anything about it.
