Tranny needed !!!
Well , it turns out my budget beater is turning into a money pit like most of my projects. The tranny that came with the truck is shot and Im going to need to find a new one. Does anyone out there have a 4 speed OD for an 80-83 f100 2wheel drive? ?

Post which one you have, the integrated shifter unit or the side mounted linkage job. I've seen fellers who have these on the site, but in California. Mine is still in my truck and I'd be happy to sell it to you if only I could pony up for the replacement I want..
Last post about one the guy got one from the scrappy for $100-150, and threw a rebuild kit into it for another $150. I was quoted $500 to rebuild mine...so maybe you should google "tranmission rebuild kit" and fix yours.....????
