My First Post--Introduction
I'm happy to be a new member of this great group! I bought the truck new December 2001 after my retirement to pull a fifth wheel around Canada and the US. So far I'm very happy with its performance...it's done everything I've asked it to do...I want to do everything I can to keep it that way.
My purpose in joining is to get specific info on what maintenance I can do myself on my F250 7.3 PSD 4x4. and also share what limited knowlege I have acquired so far self servicing my truck. So far I have 1)done many oil and filter changes, 2) replaced the CPS with the new improved "Blue" version, 3) replaced the fuel filter, 4) about to change the transmission fluid, 5) converted over to a K/N Reuseable air filter, 6) replaced the fan belt. I'm looking for info on other DIY items such as wheel bearings, 4x4 lubrication points etc. I realize some of these items may not be user serviceable and I will then take it in to a licensed mechanic. But meanwhile I'll do what I can. Many Thanks.

P.S.: If you aren´t from the US, you should take a look into joining the international chapter (Americans are welcome too, of course, but the chapter was made for people outside the US to join).
