Hello!!
New guy on the forum, just got a 2006 SCrew FX4 and I love it except for a few issues. I was leary of going with Ford in the first place due to quality issues, so hopefully these little things aren't any indication of things to come.
The passenger window makes some sort of noise when rolling up like there's an interference inside the door between some moving parts. A slight grinding on the way down and a sharp click/pop about half way back up.
The A/C compressor started cycling off and on today what I would consider excessively (less than 60 seconds between engage/disengage). It also appears to be much noisier than acceptable at idle as well as a lot of generally odd hissing/pressure noise after the engine is shut off.
I just bought the truck wednesday and I will be taking it in this week, so hopefully everything can be taken care of. I like the truck so far, just expected more initial quality than this.
Anybody with same issues or info that could point me in any helpful direction please let me know.
