7.3L wont start
2001 Ex. 4x4 7.3L
At times it doesn't want to start. Eventually, after several attempts it starts. Never an issue driving around (CPS???) just starting. When it does finally start, it slowly builds staem then fires off.
Sounds like fuel delivery, but could it be the vacuum thing on the passenger wheel well under the hood. It used to click when i turned the key over and sometimes would turn off, others times it would keep ticking. Put the finger over the open end and it would shut off. This last time it wouldn't click anymore.

Do you notice any smoke when it first starts up or during cranking?
