Won't Start

I know this sounds really familiar but, I have searched through out And have drawn a blank. This must sound like a broken record to most. 2001 Expy with 5.4 that wont start. I had a problem with the AIC once before, cleaned it and all was well, this time changed it out. It would even fire off. Pretty good amount of fuel smell but no fire. Every no and again it will try but then it dies. I am wondering if there is something I am missing,
