One of the guys at work has a confusing problem. 2000 F250 Superduty power stroke 4x4. At about 72 MPH he has a chime alarm come on. Says sounds like the door ajar chime. Any help would be welcomed.

I drove a company truck that did that, it was a 99 F350. The door chime sounded right before 75mph, so you wouldnt be tempted to drive fast in a company truck.
Thanks. That is about what I told him. Years ago some late model cars had some sort of speed warning that you set. When that speed had been past the buzzer would go off.
Shot in the dark: There is a small contact in the ignition switch that, if grounded, will set off the dinger. I did the ignition switch mod and later the dinger would come on at random times. I removed the switch and found that contact piece was out of its home and randomly shorting and setting off the dinger. Not sure why yours would be speed sensitive though.
