I was getting antifreeze in my cab and didnt have time to replace heater core (I'm assuming this is the problem). My solution was to bypass the heater core by cutting the inlet and outlet hoses from my firewall and coupling them together with an elbowed coupling.
No more antifreeze in the cab however the engine is now lagging since I have done the modification. It tends to shutter whether I am idling or at 3000rpm. Its not a real bad shake, but a subtle...bump or lag feeling.
Please troubleshoot.

Check that the spark plug hole on cylinder # 4 (last one, near the firewall on passenger side) isn't full of coolant or wet. Look in the C.O.P. boot for moisture as well and check that the spark plug isn't covered in rust. This will short out the coil-on-plug and cause misfires. This sort of thing happens anyhow when the clamp on the heater core return hose leaks into the cylinder 4 spark plug hole.
I would guess that you spilled coolant onto the engine and it got into 1 or more of the coil's. Pull the coil's in that area and see if they are wet inside.
