Question Auto headlights not working

My wifes 99 exporer has the auto headlight feature on the rearveiw mirror & has stop working. I have checked all the fuses on the side panel & under the hood, they all are good. I looked in the owners mannual & could not find a fuse for that feature. Any ideas would be great as she is B****ing about having to turn them on manualy. I told her she should be glad she still has lights at all. But I would like to fix it.

I agree, who cares if the silly auto on headlights are working.

Theres a "headlamp relay" that connects the autolamp sensor switch to the headlight wiring. Thats the first thing that I would check.

See if your owners manual tells you where it is. Most likely it's behind the center section of the dash.

Could also be a bad sensor switch.
