You know your seats classic79. The seat is from a 97 or 98 F250 LD and I mounted it on 79 Bronco brackets. I had to redrill a few holes in the seat frame to make them fit and also made a bracket just to support the center section off the floor. Fairly easy to do with common hand tools in the driveway.
Very nice. Did the sound deadner make a noticeable difference? I really like the door panels. Did you make those upholstered inserts or are they factory?
Yes, the sound deadener made a huge difference. Its a time consuming job but worth every minute. The door panels are factory Lariat package panels, the previous owner dyed them all black. I thought the interior needed a bit of grey to tie it together so I cleaned them up, taped them off and applied the grey.
I know the feeling Cowboyty, if I did not take a few weeks off work before my move I would not be this far either. The stuff I have done so far were all things I wanted to do before I left so now all I need to do are all the fluids. Take your time, dont rush it and it will all come together.
Congrats on the wedding, bet you cant wait till its all over.
All the plastic trim was there, I just took some steel wool to it to clean it up then wiped it down with prepsol. Sprayed the panels with adhesion promoter then sprayed them with vinyl and fabric dye made by Duplicolor. The seat is out of a 97 or 98 F250, carpet is fron ACC. I will be doing a small writeup in the completed project/resto section shortly.
