Goldnickle, thanks. Just take your time when you do it and it will come out fine, its not rocket science. The body color is called Caymen metallic....its sort of a teal green but looks blue at times. I really like it because its not to common.
77300i6, It has the rear bench but it was in great shape so I did not have it redone. It was origalinnl green but it was dyed black. I redid it so it should last for a while as the rear seat never really gets used.
Sorry I have not gotten the writeup done in the completed projects section yet, Im in the middle of moving so things are a bit hectic. I should be in NC this comming Monday so pending internet access it should be done soon.
I am in the process of doing a stock makeover on my 1977 F150. It has the racetrack trim, Midnight blue/light blue color. I am repainting the interior, getting seat redone to OEM,
I really like a nice interior. I have just received a dynamat bulk pack, new carpet, hood insulator and the goodies keep rolling in!!
I am done stripping the truck, and now I just need a few dent filled, pulled and then I can prime this weekend!
Man this is a lot of work. I will probably never do it again!!
Nice job on the interior; with your new seats are you sitting higher than the stock seats? I've looked into putting newer seats into a 79 supercab but when I do the engineering on paper the seats end up 2-4 inches higher than stock. Any help would be appreciated.
