can anyone tell me where I can find side view mirrors for my 70 ranger. The ones I have are the long rectangular shaped that mount with this bracket - [ and they have three vertical raised ribs on the back of the mirror part. they also have a small "fomoco" logo stamped on them. see my gallery - they're just like the ones on Dennis Carpenter's April 2001 issue catalog cover. I've looked in parts stores and online with no luck. All the hardware on mine are so badly rusted that I can't make any adjustments.
I have the same style mirrors. They are hard to find, but if you scour the junkyards(especially southwest) they can be found. I had to look hard but found a pair in a junkyard in El Paso. They were like new, because of the climate. I do know of one guy here in town that has alot of spare 67-72 parts. I'll check with him and if I come up with some I'll let you know.
Thanks, although at the moment she's not running very beautifully, and to think I just had the clutch replaced and the kingpins and bushings and now she's acting like when I first got her.
