Possible Drive by wire adjustment????
Found this at on a Mustang site, some say it works, some dont. Can not say if it will work on or trucks, as I have not tryed it. My 06 seems to be fine. If you try it please report your results here.
Here are the steps .....
1. Turn on car without starting the engine
2. Wait til the dash lights stabilize (some of them will turn off)
3. Step on the gas pedal in one smooth and steady motion
4. Once gas pedal hits the bottom, let go
5. Turn off car and wait 4-5 seconds
6. Turn engine on
7. Drive
8. Repeat 1-6 if it doesn't work the first time

It seems to have worked on mine as well. Now if I can only get the damn 5.4l to accelerated without stumbling and skipping I would be all set.

It worked on mine also. It actually lurched forward when I stomped on the gas pedal for the first time since I've had this truck... no more hesitation.
