my poor truck
well fellas i wrecked my truck. its horrible. i mean the damage is just a perfect grill, a fender, and a nice bumper. but i just got done painting it. and it looked good to. so now im on the hunt for parts then im gonna repaint it.

nah its just a really screwed fender, bumper, and grill. but they were cherry. and the grill was the nice 1969 chrome grill. and its toast. and the paint job i laid on it looked killer. stupid chevies and the people that drive them.

ya i suppose. it just irritates me cause ive been putting alot of time into the old gal. now that i have a job again im starting to fix her all up. but she will be all good in a few weeks. just that my insurance is gonna skyrocket.

it was both parties fault. we were both left of center. see i was pulling into the parking lot at that spot only cause she wasnt at the turning spot yet. and she was in a hurry to get out of there and wasnt paying attention and i took the turn wide due to the no power steering thing and i got in there and there she was and my truck cant stop on a dime and bam insta collision.

Yeah, that's one of the great things about these trucks is their ability to survive a minor wreck. A chick in a new Chebbie backed into me at the post office last year and didn't leave a single mark on my truck. Can't say the same for her transportation choice, though. My '01 Stang had a ridiculous 2MPH rating for the front bumper with no damage. 2MPH. Of course, since they have huge steering wheels, steel dashes and lousy seatbelts we don't fare quite as well as the trucks, but that's the deal.

i guy and his chevy srcaped the back corner of mine just below the side marker light while he was pulling through the parking spot. all i had was a small scratch and the whole side his bed was banged up with lovely red marks form my truck against his dark blue paint. i bet he'll think again before pullin through a parking spot like that again!

too bad about the accident, great to hear you and the truck will be ok. It sucks when you have to start looking again for more parts and especially after the new paint job. More practice and time spent that you don`t need.
