It's the best time of the year for marlin fishing!! My fiancee (been 6years now so I may as well call her my wife) works for the Sheraton hotel here in town, which is affiliated with star-wood group. Its a huge chain and there are places all over the world. They give there employee's cheap rates at all there hotels world wide, we booked in at a $278 per night resort for $69. At that price money saved on the room can be put towards the flight's and p*ssin around money in Mexico. Renting a 4wd while there, might have to see if i can get it stuck!

Thats to bad, If i had known , she cant give a discount on rooms, but can upgrade if available, and always sends gift baskets to friends and "fte members"

Throat slicing happened in the Mayan riviera, We are staying on the baja peninsula. But really they could happen any where, look at most of the major cities in the states. I remember about 4-5 years ago they didn't recommend travel to Florida, due to people following tourists on the highway and shooting and robbing them.
