Carb Spacer
There was a thread about this a few weeks back. I want to try and replace the current carb spacer on my 69 360 2bbl and see if it helps some problems I have been having. The previous thread suggested a mustang spacer because it doesnt use coolant ports. Is this the right part?

Call me crazy but I made a carb spacer out of hard Maple just for kicks. Saw one in Jeg's and said,"I can make that". Believe it or not but my 351w is running great! It really made a difference.

That's not crazy- lots of folks don't realize there are a lot of wooden spacers out there. I've made them out of oak before and they work great. Wood is the best thing to insulate the carb from heat.
