Can someone tell me what the part for the International Harvester CPS Improved Blue CPS for 7.3L Ford Powerstroke is? Is it this IHC#1807339C92 ??This way I can just go to the local Shop and get it. Instead of paying outrageous shipping fees....where I live we are considered remote and get dinged pretty bad for anything coming from the US. Will I gain anything by changing mine even though it hasn't failed yet. Will it do anything for me?
"Will I gain anything by changing mine even though it hasn't failed yet."
Nope... you will gain absolutely nothing.
Will it do anything for me?
Nope.... other then help lower the weight of your wallet. No performance gain, no mileage gain, won't start easier, may not even last any longer before it fails.

not being an aszz or anything but how do you know this? where did you get your information? i am curious myself
It's just a senser.... It tells the PCM where the crank is.... Thats all it does.
It's one of those things that if it is working... your truck runs. If it isn't working... Your truck doesn't run. It's like a switch... on or off.
How come people claim better gaz mileage, smoother quieter idle, better throttle response.....you guys are pretty much going against most of them....I know what it does.....well....reading allot on it lately, seems that better sensor = better performance.
Not a question of making me feel better, just looking for proof of performance from people who actually have done the change....have you? how can you comment if you haven't. I do appreciate your opinion, and 100$ isn't too bad I guess....woiuld be more carefull if I was dumping 1000$ on something like this anyway...thanks again.
