Is it possible to get an exhaust backfire just on the drivers side cylinder bank? My drivers side muffler makes a popping noise under light throttle only. It is loud and sounds like a backfire, but I am pretty sure the muffler is trashed (tailpipe got ripped out of the back of it), but I wanted to get a second opinion. The truck drives normally, it doesnt act like its backfiring, rpms stay smooth and power is always there.
Thanks
Aaron
Its a 360, so 7 & 8 are last in the order. I havent checked the wires, but they are less than 6 months old, they are Bosch whatever sparks. I will check the wire routings.
Thanks
Aaron
Anytime you have air entering the exhaust system like your trashed muffler, you’re going to get some popping sounds, especially on deceleration. Put on a new muffler and I bet it goes away.
