looking for opinions, getting ready to run 2 1/2 true duals on my truck tomorow with flowmaster super 40 series mufflers, i cant decide to run it out in front of each wheel or behind. I know it has the side tank so it will be a little tougher to run it out in front of the wheel on the driver side but my dad has the pipe bender since he bends custom exhaust. Any opinions would be very appreciated
I never liked this arrangement. When you split the exhaust, you have an effective four cylinder out each side. It hink this sounds very bad when driving next to someone. The exhaust sounds much better if they both come out the smae sinde, in my opinioin.
I have mine both going over to the passenger side, and exiting right behind the rear tire.
I ran mine straight out the back. The only negative about that is when you're loading stuff right after it started the pipes will blow condensation on your pant legs, but ain't such a big thang.
I'm still thinking about how to run mine. I'll probably run both of them out in front of the back tire on the passenger side. I want to run them one on each side but am too lazy to get the pipes bent and hung.
well im having them bent and i really awnt them out in front of both back wheels but its tough getting around the drivers side side gas tank. kinda afraid the pipe would hang to low
