Mods for a 05 4.2

I just looked thru our server and there is an Intake system for the 4.2L by Street and Performance Electronics LINK... There is info on it on that page.
Plus they offer a Throttle body spacer as well LINK. I have no experience with these products I just show a listing for them. I dont know if there are any great improvents or problems with either.

SuperChips has a FlashPAQ tuner coming out for that engine in June. They have the FlashPAQ now for the 2004, and for the 2006...but there is a hole where the 2005 is concerned.
Gibson has Exhaust:
05-06 4.2L-4.6L Standard Cab, Short Bed 2wd Stainless #69206

And Headers:

K&N also has a drop in filter:

You can also just swap out the restrictive stock muffler and put a Flowmaster 40 series in its place for increased sound, less restriction and more power to some small degree.
Once you get that done, you could always opt for a 50-80HP dry shot of nitrous. Holley has a Dry system that is universal and plumbs into the intake tube.

im in this situation myself with my '06.... best i have found was exhausr cai and nitrous.... kinda sux but hey more ppl have the 4.6L and 5.4L
