I have had about 8 trucks that I have helped build 302 engines for. Each one of these engines we use Castrol 20W-50. Obviously, this depends on what part of the country you are in. But if you are in a warm climate this is an excellent choice. I pulled one of these 302 engines apart with 100,000 miles on it to fix some oil leaks, and the engine was just as clean as when I originally built it. I run this oil in everything I own from my 1969 Ranger to my 1997 Grand Prix to my 1998 Harley Davidson Heritage Softail. I love it.
