Not a happy man!
Can not get the pipe off of the down pipe.
Please, if anyone knows of another place to hook into for the TC LOCK SWITCH, I would be very thankfull!!! Just so everyone knows, the 02 and 03 SuperDuty trucks do not use the number 6 wire on the fender well for the TC, but I hope that there is another place to hook into.
I did get the muffler turned around, just can't here it yet.
I think I'll pop a top and wait for a reply.
There is a place for you to tap into other than the tranny. IF YOU CAN - if you can reach the wire harness and put a continuity tester lead on a wire, then you can trace it out in the harness under the brake unit. Another way is to get a test light, find a ground and start pinching wires. Drive around till the TC engages and wait for the light to go.
Just for giggles, check the harness closest the engine. second row down, second pin in - it's a plave to start.
The only other option I see is bucking up for a trans fluid change. While the pan is off, connect a lead directly to the feed wire for the TCC solenoid....then start your trace.

Now for the good stuff. I can see that the TC lock is going to be fun. I even turned the DRW's when I hit second, but I don't think that I will do that very often, H of a jolt. I will use this every day to try to save on fuel until the WVO conversion, then milage will not be as big of an issue.
