Tranny Help

Recently I have experienced a delay going in to reverse on my 01 F250 4x4 powerstroke. It seems to go into reverse a little slow essp[ecialy when on an incline acting like a stick when you lett out the clutch lugging the engine just a bit. I checked the fluid level and it was ok, smelt fine and was not brown. I replaced the filter and added new fluid but problem still there, It also does not seem to shift as hard as it used to. I have heard that the bully dog shift kits will cure this problem, Is there any truth to this. Whay should I look at does anyone have an idea for me. I dont know a whole lot about diesels this is my first one. I also heard the stock t converter is the weakest link in this type of tranny. It will also slip everyonce and a while going down the road, not sure if the T converter is going bad or not or is it the valves sticking in the tranny. I have heard that the sonamax tricumulater kit will cure this. I dont have a lot of experience with this subject, some good advice would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like your TC is beginning to slip. A sonnex kit will most likely take the clutch pacs out shortly after install. My guess would be that its time for some TC shopping.
